The challenge

What we walked into.

Mining at this density is a thermal problem before it is a crypto problem. Fifty plus GPU rigs and 800 TH of ASIC hashrate produce heat that a standard room simply cannot move.

Everything had to run on our own infrastructure, which meant we owned the power, the airflow, the noise and every failure at three in the morning.

How we did it

The approach.

  1. Step 1

    Built the container ourselves, designed around airflow: hot and cold separation, intake and exhaust sized for the load, filtration for the environment.

  2. Step 2

    Power distribution and monitoring per circuit, so a failing unit shows up before it takes anything else with it.

  3. Step 3

    Remote management for the fleet: firmware, pool configuration, hashrate telemetry and automatic restarts.

What it delivered.

A self-built, self-operated mining site running GPU and ASIC workloads side by side.

Cooling solved as a design problem rather than patched with extra fans, which is what keeps uptime and hardware life where they should be.

What we took away

Lessons that travel.

  • Cooling designed in beats cooling patched on. Extra fans buy weeks; airflow design buys years of hardware life.

  • Per-circuit monitoring catches the unit that is about to take its neighbours with it.

  • Owning the site means owning the three in the morning failure, so remote management is not optional.
